Who We Are
EnergE-Bikes is a forward-looking, environmentally concerned corporation that was founded by three visionaries: Ben Nyquist, Spencer Morrison and John Morrison. Ben and Spencer met while studying abroad in China. It was there that they first saw and understood the potential of electric bikes. E-bikes have been an attractive mode of transportation in China for over a decade due to their convenience and affordability. Since 1998 the annual e-bike sales in China has been over 25,000%. In the U.S. we are on the cusp of a similar increase in popularity. As the public acquires more of a "green" mentality and oil prices continue to rise, alternative energy solutions are becoming increasingly more appealing.
Mission
Our mission at EnergE-Bikes is to provide reliable and environmentally friendly quality e-bikes for the progressive individual. We strive to distribute superior products to you at prices that are significantly less than our competition.
We hope that by providing our e-bikes to the public, we can help to reduce noise and air pollution, abate traffic congestion, lower our nation's dependence on foreign oil, and most importantly, promote a "viable alternative" that is both fun and healthy.
Founders’ Biographies
Ben Nyquist (aka "Sunshine") brings charisma, perseverance, and an unwavering positive attitude to the table. He is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, concentrating on Spanish and Political Science. His worldly outlook has helped shape the culture and vision at EnergE-Bikes.
Spencer Morrison (aka "Dude") is a focused, business-minded individual that was the first to see the enormous potential of these incredible machines. He is also attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in International Business, Chinese and Management. His persistence and optimism has helped to further strengthen the values that EnergE-Bikes incorporates into its daily operations.
John Morrison (aka "Captain") has been a commercial airline pilot for over 25 year. He has had the opportunity to travel the globe and witness the power and impact of electric bikes in action. His determination and organizational abilities have made him an integral part of EnergE-bikes.
